I feel a lot of stress over the expectation to work nights & weekends and cancel plans. If I work, I’m thinking about the thing I canceled and if I don’t, I’m feeling guilt that I’m not working.
Is there a realistic way to convey to a boss that your negative attitude may have something to do with the workplace (ie. toxic coworkers, overwhelming workloads, unrealistic expectations, etc.).

I’m an agency CEO on sabbatical, and an industry champion for Time-to-Change in the UK. It was hard to believe how I was treated, am now writing an exposé blog. Brutal.
I suffered a complete breakdown in 2014, due to severe client bullying. I was a senior executive and was thrown to the wolves by my CEO. Thankfully I had a great attorney and psychiatrist.
If you are in a situations that trigger your fight or flight or response, how do you recommend reversing the panic? Tips from when that panic arises and “going for a walk” is not an option?
