Welp! Finally got the axe today too. I didn’t even get to talk to my manager. One of the execs I support told me he’s very sorry and I was great, etc etc, but it couldn’t be avoided. Whatever. I kind of never want to work again. I’m heartbroken.
I was cut today due to COVID. I asked why I wasn’t furloughed and was told my position was eliminated. I’ve never had problems with performance and everyone loved working with me. I am heartbroken.
Suggestions needed. I’m starting a new position remotely tomorrow. The onboarding has been seamless, but does anyone have any tools, tips or best practices for shining remotely? Thanks in advance.
