Hypothetical - generally if you have a need for a large sum of cash in ~3-5 years, it’s best to keep it in a HYSA. If longer time horizon, put it in the market so it can grow. (Assuming regular contributions/DCA in both scenarios) If you go the market direction, at what point do you pull it out of the market and back into an HYSA ahead of the purchase? 1 year out? 2 years out? Day of the sale?

Over what period do you all DCA your bonus into ETFs? Few months or full year?

How far in advance would you get to DCA with holiday traffic? I usually get there an hour/hour and half before boarding time.

Guys need feedback from folks who have Altroz DCA? Also some suggestion on Car Insurance.TIA.

What platform are you using to buy crypto now? Trying to understand which one has the most favorable fee structure for buying or DCA into BTC and ETH.

Instead of contributing to my 401k, I used that money to invest and DCA into crypto and I'm down 70% on my coins. FML

So I was pretty dumb and shilled a ton of money into btc,eth,avax,sol during the crypto bull run - Since then I’ve dca’d very small amounts into each, but i’m down badly on cost basis (over 50% down). Any recommendations on how to handle this? Do I hold and dca? Should I just sell at a loss?

Landed my first decent paying job at 28, saving approximately $5k a month. Suggestions for where to invest that to maximise returns but not have it tied up for too long (as I want to ideally pull it out to invest in a property in about 12-16 months once interest rates calm down)? Are you holding cash to buy for the right opportunity or DCA or little of both?

I have about 250k in cash in savings and moving to cash in January. Thoughts on an expedited DCA through larger amounts over a year vs. a lump sum? Real estate was an option as well but rates are absurd. Any other investment options? Thanks

But still I have mixed feelings, since it's my first switch.

My LWD is on Oct3rd.DCA qualified. I only work in excel sheets here and 50% sal dependent on band. So, I resigned. I have an offer of 12 from Accenture. My CCTC is 8.5lpa. manager saying that they will change the clause, from incentive to fixed component. But won't give any hike. And since I have 2 A-bands, I will be promoted in Jan cycle to ITA, so another 20% hike
So he told me to let him know about my decision.

Should I stay or leave?

Newbie investor asked me a question, they have $5k to invest and were wondering if they should put it in an index fund (S&P500 - which is what I’d normally recommend plus DCA thereafter) or if they should buy AMZN given that it is well off of its highs, is a solid company and would, in 12-18 months, likely grow faster than the S&P, as interest rates normalize over that time period, etc. That got me thinking… so I’m asking all of you, what would you do/recommend?

Does anyone feel like the stock market with 401k/IRA is a herd mentality of everyone contributing for people to take out money when they’re older similar to social security at this point? And those of us participating are minimizing gains vs. individual stocks because we’re waiting on basically more people to contribute to the funds every month and to stay in the funds?

I just don’t understand the downswings on these 401k funds so significantly if everyone is DCA someone is selling.
