Moving to NYC soon - how bad is the commute to catch a flight out of EWR?

Is LGA much better?

Has anyone taken the PCR test at the EWR airport for a report within a few hours for a fee? If so, what terminal is it at any idea? Parents’ flight to India is this evening and my results haven’t come through yet, so trying to do it at airport. TIA!

Planning on traveling to NYC from Florida on the 26th of this month. I've been doing a lot of research but i can't find a direct answer for which would be the best airport to arrive at. We don't have anything set in stone, but we plan on staying maybe around lower Manhattan. This is our first time traveling there and I'd prefer the airport that will be the easiest and/or reasonably priced to get from the airport to that area. What is your advice? So far I'm hearing EWR & JFK > LGA.

United lost my son's car seat on a 3 hr flight. It was registered as a checked luggage with the proper csrseat tag and everything. After following up with an agent after we landed, they said it stayed in EWR and they are working to get it shipped to me in the next day or so while I'm on vacation.
Anyway to get points for the inconvenience, I'm Premier platinum if it matters.

They did give me a free loaner carseat until mine arrives but it's kinda crappy tbh.

I live near Newark (EWR) a United hub and only have a CSR which is a United transfer partner. I travel a few times a year for work internationally (I get to put expenses on my CSR). I’m wondering if I should try to book only Star Alliance airlines so I can have the United Points and Chase Points to transfer or if I should fly SkyTeam and get the Delta points as Delta’s points program is rated higher at the TPG Awards. Also open to other ideas.

Any one traveling from india to US before the travel ban kicks in? I have tickets for parents in place for Mumbai to EWR via Germany. But given the existing ban for non residents from Germany, I am not sure if this would work. Parents on B1/B2.

My mother (60 years old) needs to travel to SFO from NY. If I dont quarantine myself for 14 days, will I not be allowed to fly back from SFO To EWR? Is it being enforced or monitored somehow? Should I cancel. Thoughts?

Quetions for parents travelling LAX-EWR-BOM next week.
1.What is the best option to get a COVID test done without insurance?
2.Can I submit the air suvidha exemption form now and upload the test results on the day of boarding or the request has to be initiated only after we give sample for testing i.e. within 72 hrs of boarding?

I’m considering CLT to EWR and then Air India 14 hours direct flt to New Delhi. I have GC. Anything that I need to consider pre-travel e.g. COVID Test. Have not booked my flt yet so open to suggestions on the route too. TIA
