Salary range and insight into benefits at Guidehouse for managing consultant? I’ve had 2 interviews so far and am looking to get more info into TC, culture, WLB, etc.

I'm in salary negotiations for a great role, but there's a small gap (~$10k) to even match my old salary. They have most of the obvious benefits like unlim. vacation, low healthcare premiums, 401k matching, permanent WFH, etc.

Right now, severance pkg. and a more senior title are most important. Has anyone negotiated a title bump? Outcome?

Are there additional benefits I should also consider?

I was made aware that I could work for consulting companies under a personal LLC and increase the pay received. My understanding is this is because I would have to pay my own insurance, benefits etc. Can anyone provide any additional details or literature on this?

Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects). Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)
