Anyone here a manager at Huron? Specifically healthcare consulting? Curious to your day to day, would love to chat. I spoke to recruiter for a Sr Associate position but she mentioned I could apply for manager. I’ve been a consultant for 4-5 years (but across 2 diff orgs) and have had few direct reports but hesitant on switch to manager?

I received a verbal offer for a senior consultant position with Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory for GPS but was also told that the position would be tied to a USDC. I am based in the DC area and was told that I could be hired to a delivery center during the interview process since they are remote. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Would I receive Deloitte advisory benefits or the USDC benefits?

I'm very interested in healthcare roles at AWS, specifically ones including and similar to the innovation advisory consultant roles.

I am not up for a promotion to SC at this point. I've also heard Deloitte benefits are better, but would anyone have opinions on whether I should take the job?

Would they all start right away ? Or vested over time at D ?

Hey all - I wanted some help assessing my chances at a consulting firm. Out of college, I worked with a consulting firm performing roles in analytics sales and delivery. I did that for 2 yrs before moving to a startup where I was a part of an enterprise wide data migration and reorg project. I worked with the CSuite on the delivery of that one. 1.5 years later I am working as an internal healthcare analytics consultant. Do you think my profile is okay enough to be an analytics consultant?

I'm 28 yo and I recently completed MS in the US and started work as a Tech Consultant.

I'm exploring options such as Canada, Singapore, Australia, Dubai, UK etc. to migrate and settle mainly because I want to be able to stay close to my parents/have my parents stay with me + better healthcare for all of us.

Not very sure of Canada because of the weather conditions.

Can anybody provide insights on these options?

How does staffing work at Deloitte for experienced hires at the consultant level? If you're technically aligned to a specific industry & offering (e.g. financial services or healthcare / OT), is there opportunity to work on projects outside of that group? Do consultants still go into the generalist pool?

Gearing up towards salary negotiations, I've got 2 YOE and 66.668$ TC as a consultant with no benefits. My role description has changed quite a bit since I started and I'm now the only colleague with a qualified QA degree in my team. I am considering putting forward a proposal of a 25-30% increase to match my role as QA lead, is this to bold?

Are there benefits to staying at a consulting firm for more than a year if the exit opportunities offer more? Analytics consultant here, looking to be earning about 90k next year. As a technical consultant (data scientist), how important is it for you to develop relationships with clients in the specific industry you're interested in, like healthcare, as you move up? Or, is it enough to just build a track record of tech chops & impact at the VP/C-level of other industries, even if you don't have any personal rapport with clients to leverage?
