How the hell does one get into buying investment property? My buddy does well for himself. He’s in finance and I’d imagine takes home a pretty salary + bonus. He’s on his third property within 2 years. In this real estate market. I have a ton of savings and have little confidence in stocks right now. Any books or sites I should be looking into?

I am currently business analyst with total exp of 11 years. 9 years into sales last 2 years into Business Analyst. I want to move to product management. How can I start preparing for the same. What all books or certification required. I have exp in Jira, BRD, little bit of SQL. My domain is banking and finance. Please help. I want to get into companies like Adobe Atlassian Google Amazon .

I just graduated 1.5yrs ago, but have gratefully made my way into a Sr. Accountant position at a ~120 saas company managing books, p&ls, 606 rev recs, powerbi analytics, & all things finance for our 20MM of revenue. I feel like I’ve already reached my growth limit here and the next position up is my boss’s CFO position. I’m trying to break into big tech as a fin. analyst or rev rec specialist, but they always want someone with more experience. What should I do / any recommendations? 70k comp.

Personal finance book recommendations?

I’m a junior M&A attorney who doesn’t have a background in business/finance. Any book recommendations for someone to learn more about some key concepts like NWC, financial statements, disclosure schedules, or the deal process in general?

Can anyone here give me insight on what I should expect to get paid as an Associate Financial Advisor? I have an MBA in finance and I just got my CFP (3 years industry experience). I just want to meet with clients as part of a team and not manage my own book. I'm making $85k now, not sure if that's reasonable.

I’m an attorney trying to learn about finance and economics. I didn’t take any economics courses in college and don’t have any experience in that area. What books or other resources would you recommend for a beginner? I’m not looking for investment guides.

What are some things you guys wish you knew before you started your NetSuite implementation?

I’m at a small company that’s sort of becoming medium sized, and a new exec pushing to quickly implement NetSuite and I just want to make sure we’re not getting in over our heads, he’s trying to get this done within two months

Fish that use Audible to listen to books, does it have a decent number of personal finance books that are at the non-premium tier? I couldn’t figure out or find a search/list of unlimited included books… I did see the premium tier has 1-2 book credits a month
