Which laptop Paytm usually provide to the product management department.Can anybody tell ,I saw people getting Mac Book in few of LinkedIn posts.

Hi, I recently read "How to crack PM interview" book. It will written that for a person with no prior experience in PM should build a mobile app to showcase the skills. I have CS degree so it won't be hard to me to build an app.

What are your thoughts on this? Will it be helpful or should I do some beginners certification like Foundations of Prince2/ Certified Associate Project Manager (PMP)?

I am currently business analyst with total exp of 11 years. 9 years into sales last 2 years into Business Analyst. I want to move to product management. How can I start preparing for the same. What all books or certification required. I have exp in Jira, BRD, little bit of SQL. My domain is banking and finance. Please help. I want to get into companies like Adobe Atlassian Google Amazon .

Got a verbal from a tier 1 semiconductor market leader. Base is 10% less than current. And I’m already underpaid. RSU is next to nothing. But, I’m so burnt out and desperate leave consulting. What would u do if in my situation?
I’ve been looking to join a tech company for more than a yr. Failed all interviews, now feeling worthless. I read 10Ks, PM interview book, company news, consulting case, PM case, did take home cases,…and none worked out. Always made to the final then failed 😣

Spent 2 years doing digital implementation at a big 4 firm, and 2 years in strategy consulting. How would I approach breaking into PM? I have a solid foundation but need to figure out how best to grow. Any recommendations on books, certs, learning or other tips would be appreciated!!

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?
There's not really a rule book that says I must work until the work is done even though it's an unsaid expectation. Thoughts?

L6 PM, 32 yo. MIS degree from a state school. Should I do a part-time MBA or JD to check a box for my career ascent later or spend all that time and money networking/reading books/developing my interests? JD because I work with lawyers. MBA because Sundar has one. I don’t want to leave tech.

I'm currently in a BIE / Data Analyst role with overall 10 years of experience.
Can anybody provide suggestions for moving to a Product Manager role - how to prepare, which books to read, what to study, etc.

Just had a coworker in a higher rank than me book us a 3 hour long meeting starting at 6 PM… Maybe I’m crazy, but that’s kind of ridiculous and rude, right? It’s not for an urgent deliverable or anything time sensitive either. How do I raise to him that that’s outside of my working hours and just not necessary?

Getting pulled into meetings on different projects as functional lead or backup to functional lead. What is the best way to organize, to keep meeting notes, key tidbits, track of latest updates and status? One note or something else? Also, any tips or books to read to help manage such a pace and diversity of projects. Not looking to be a PM. Role is more around managing FTE and contractors across different groups without actually having them reporting to you. TIA
