Not enjoying my low utilization and would like to either switch internally or leave to another B4 as an A2. What is the best option? Not getting the experience I want and disappointed.

What were some challenges y’all faced this week?

I’ll start. Trying to get non local resources utilized. National Leadership thinks this is the answer to our problems but local leadership is hesitant.

What is the base range for infosys consulting partner position ? They say they are very competitive with likes of IBM , Accenture consulting and have a 53.8% bonus over base . The other thing is partners have 30% billable utilization. Does this mean that partners in consulting do lot of delivery work ? Or its mostly Driving sales and delivery governance

I’m considering a switch from clinic physical therapist to utilization/clinical reviewer which is remote. The offer is quite a steep pay cut and I’m trying to determine if that’s normal. I expected a slight reduction in pay moving to a non-clinical role, but this is ~$23,000 less than my outpatient job. Can anyone speak to a typical pay cut to move into this type of role?

I’m a recent hire mid level staffed on a deal with a nasty partner (condescending, criticizes and micromanages) and a jr that does everything exactly how the partner likes it. It seems I’ve frustrated the partner enough where I’ve been relegated to the jr work while the jr does what I should be doing.

With other partners Im utilized correctly and I’ve done a good job. I’m actually happy the partner has done this as working with him is miserable. Just wanted to see what others think abt this

How to count my utilization or how it works and how to keep track of it to meet the requirement?

I’m a new hire in audit and not sure how my performance will be evaluated. I’m in the 2nd week of my first engagement so I’m still learning while doing some tasks but I’m not busy. Is it ok if I input 8hrs per day? Should I put less hours in Astro as I’m not so busy? Heard about that I will get PIP if my utilization is behind my peers but I dont really understand how it works. The Good Thing About Long-term Depression: I know I’ll survive. I’ve dealt with major depression for at least 2 decades. It hasn’t been that bad for about a year now, but as I sit on the bench, I’ve found today (specifically) to be particularly rough. I am a recently onboarded analyst and have been applying to some initiatives since my coach told me I’d be on the bench for some time. A project I got asked to join is classified as an “internal investment (Adjusted Utilization)”. Can someone describe how adjusted utilization will effect my year-end review? How do you combat low utilization that isn’t performance related? Just calculated my required hours to hit utilization target as a new senior in advisory and I would have to be staffed for 45-50 client hours per week without any break until end of March. With deployment being so ineffectual I don’t see that happening. Is there anything else I can do?

What would be in hand salary per month for 26 lpa fixed package. Assuming 80c is fully utilized and rent of 25k pm is declared.

What would you do in this scenario? You’re on a client that has unforeseen slowdowns that result in waiting for work, but because they could send over support at any time, you’re not allowed to tell other teams you’re available, but you’re also not really booking any work for this client despite being on standby for them. You’re forced to book availability without being able to look for work because your current client could send at any time. Your utilization is destroyed as a result.

I am currently quite unhappy with the project I am on. I have not been utilized and have been asked to just study and sit in meetings. I am also not interested in what the project entails and it doesn’t meet my background at all. I don’t want to damage my brand but also want a different opportunity to learn and grow as I am still a staff. What advice would you offer me?

How much should a LVN utilization review nurse make? Hourly? Los Angeles area.

Do you report hours as full time when traveling for work? It doesn’t make sense that my utilization has to take a hit and I don’t want to burn myself out trying to hit the 40…. or don’t know what I would do to hit the 40 on less busy seasons or projects.
