Having to call Marriott to apply a suite night award to an SPG hotel on a reservation you made before the merger and combining accounts proves to you how much is still SO WRONG with this merger.

Does it matter when you check in online for a hotel in terms of getting an upgrade? I'm a titanium elite Marriott bonvoy member looking for upgrades at Westin and Ritz in a couple of days. Any tips on getting an upgrade?

How many points? Caribbean Marriott Cat 3 property, 5 nights. They have an issue with the boiler so no hot water and shower stops in between. Ice cold showers for 4 days in a row 🥶. Hotel phones don’t work because network is down and only local channels work on tv. Last night they had a huge leak in the lobby. They kept knocking stuff all night to fix it and then left a large floor fan running. I understand it’s tough reopening so don’t want to push, plus they upgraded our room at check in.

Has anyone traveled to Switzerland and used Marriott points? Best area to stay? Traveling with a total of 3 and only hotels in Zurich allow for free stays with only points as others charge extra

What are some perks of the Ritz?? I’m staying here for the next few weeks but I don’t get the hype

We’re planning to be in Kauai for a week in mid-December, but I’m thinking of extending the trip an extra 10 days. Would we have enough to do with a 4yo in tow? Or maybe not worth it to stay that long? Staying at the Grand Hyatt first week, then downgrade to Sheraton Coconut Beach.

Where should I travel for Christmas? Looking for adventure and going to travel with other couples. Hoping to use points (delta/ spg)

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM? I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment? I have put down the papers from infosys and my LWD is near . I have to choose between DXC with 22 LPA and TCS with 18 LPA . I am a mainframe developer with 11 years of experience.
I have asked TCS to revise the salary but that seems unlikely that they will match the difference.
