I have a closing interview with a Managing Director. Any tips on making it a good interview? Seems like it’s going to be more of a coffee chat

An MD in my firm is an alumnus of a T10 and willing to write a letter of support for me and submit to adcoms. He says he knows the head of something at the business school, likely the current head of admissions or a previous head of admissions who is now head of something else at the bschool.

I have already interviewed and results will be out 2nd - 3rd week of March. Would you pull this lever if you were in my shoes?

I am so mentally checked out from Deloitte, mainly due to the combination of the low pay & demanding MD/Client. Have a few interviews ongoing but no offer yet. I am concerned that this anxiety will take a toll at me. I will have to put my poker face next week and pretend I am super excited about the work again next week, sometimes I want to cry out lout but I know I can only fight to get a better life.

Hey y’all! Advice. I had an interview with a consulting company and my first round was with an MD. My second round was supposed to be with a senior manager this week but they backed out. Now I am interviewing with a consultant next week. I’m worried that I’m probably being marked as “low priority candidate.” Am I over reacting?

how long does EY’s FSO interviews usually take? had my 3rd interview almost 3 weeks ago with a MD who provided a positive feedback at the end for recommendation, but haven’t heard back from recruiters since.

I just received a verbal offer from Cognizant’s ATG division for a Salesforce Consultant position. However, I only have the Case Interview and the MD round left for a Sales Performance Management Consultant position at Deloitte. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

It's been 2 weeks since then, I have not heard back from the HR or hiring manager, should I be worried and who should I send a follow-up to, HR or the Hiring Manager?

Went through the interview process last Jan with another firm (had a referral). Made it past all of the interviews and in early March was told I would be receiving an offer. Then covid happens and at first it was a holding pattern from the recruiter then silence (have been no openings posted since). Loved the culture and it felt like the perfect fit. Still have the contact from the SMs and MD who interviewed me. When do I shoot mg shot? Wait for there to be an opening? Just so bummed.

So I get a call from a Deloitte recruiter about an ERP implementation manager position. I interview with 2 SM and 1 Managing Director. The interview went well and recruiter gave me a verbal offer that was lower than my range, we go back and forth and then we finally agreed on salary, signing bonus and start date. Recruiter gets the Managing Director approval and comes back to me saying...

Interviewed with a company, had discussions with two MD’s, a senior manager, and a senior associate. Now the recruiter has not gotten back to me. Am I getting ghosted? I realized I don’t have anyone else’s emails from the company.

Was in the process of interviewing in industry starting in July. Deloitte question: I was told today that i am “in”and that the business case is being made for my hire but the P&L owner of the business has approved me already, business case and subsequent conversations are more networking and less interview screening. When will I get a verbal offer? what’s the timeline now? a month? 3 months? P/MD role.

Have been interviewing with a bank for about a month now. First 4 interviews with the MD & VP went well. Just had an interview now with a VP and the guy was kind of a jerk. Super critical of my background and just generally wasn’t very nice. Does anyone have success stories after one bad round?
