What is the difference between roles as a Senior AML Consultant vs. Senior Analyst Global Anticorruption and Financial Crime Compliance? Considering applying.

Looking at a Facebook people strategy role and wondering if I’d have a higher chance at getting a first round interview if I was referred by a FB recruiter in a different department? I have another friend who is a FB benefits manager but he says 9/10 referrals of his don’t get one. Thoughts?

I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. Working for Deloitte. To preface I’ve been an FTE at large insurance/healthcare companies for over 10 years. In process of interviewing for a “Senior consultant role” location TN recruiter is asking for salary but won’t tell me what range is. Can someone provide me a ballpark figure working in cloud. I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.

What do CDs look for on a resume? What would you expect to see on an art directors resume? Do things change if applying to agencies versus in-house?

My firm will gladly use my connections for their own gain, so I’m making sure that if/when this situation comes, I take full advantage of it.

Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.
I feel like a failure, but recognise it might be beneficial to cut loss and quit. Has anyone been in this situation?

Thoughts on CSIQ? It is sitting near all time highs but has not jumped like crazy from pre-pandemic. It’s at a 25% premium. It has solid fundamentals. It may be a solid option after it hits the 50 day SMA.

I don't think I have enough time to buy a home. I have less than 2 months to move.

I think relocating is my best option and just renting something in Denver, CO or Tampa, Fla. I'm an early 30s f and would be living alone.

I would prefer a townhouse if possible, but it seems harder to find them so far.
