Chicago homies: I’m struggling. Is anyone hiring right now that I could send my book to? Like, directly, and not a robot that’s going to automatically reject me? I’ve applied to VMLY&R and that’s about all I’ve found. I’ve emailed connections, no luck. What are your thoughts on the chief of staff role at a startup? I want to get into tech startups but don’t have an “idea” yet and am not a “builder/engineer”. I read the JDs for this type of role and it sounds like a great role for a former management consultant/strategic advisor and a good way to get into startups and set yourself up to run your own startup some day…is my understanding correct or should I approach getting into startups a different way?

Been actively applying for months now; despite having had a few interviews I still feel lesser than due to the slog the search has been and the number of apps I've sent out.
