Just got reached out by a recruiter from Salesforce. Opportunity is a director role (non tech), not CSG. What process (how many interviews) and total timeline can I expect? Ty!

I left PA earlier this year for a manager level financial reporting role. It was a lateral move but would’ve been up for senior manager promo in July had I stayed in PA. I was approached with another opportunity as Sr Manager Financial Reporting at a public company for $150k and 20% bonus with a clear path to director in time. 8 YOE and live in FL. I’m trying to get an idea if this is in line with market. TIA!

Thoughts on staying in IB longer term to VP/director/MD level vs. exiting at the associate level? Seems like total number of exit opps get cut down but quality of exit opps is higher (ie. senior level in PE/corp dev). Considering this option if enjoying/managing life as an associate in IB at my firm

Just accepted a role as a marketing director (executive level role at this company) at a new organization. Giving notice advice: I have over a month’s pto at my current org that I don’t get paid out unless I give 30 days notice and also want to set my team up for success as much as I can because I’m considered a big departure.

Need some advice -- applied twice to an non profit that I really like and got rejected both times. I think I overshot the level I was coming in at -- like many nonprofits, they only had a few roles available at the time (director level) so I felt it was better to apply than not.

Hey friends, I’m entertaining a new job offer moving from a mid size agency to a super small agency for a position that is half traffic half account services director (it’s that small) but with the knowledge the role will morph into full time account services director in a years time.

Lady says $80k is her max but that was for when it full time traffic. Since I can bring client services, scoping, organic growth, new biz, strategy and copywriting to the table, what’s an appropriate compensation

I'm a B4 Advisory/Consulting Director. I know for a fact I will never make Partner, but I'm well regarded and in my role feel zero up or out pressure. I make very good, but not spectacular money. I work hard but it is eminently manageable. It's a really good gig and I like what I do but sometimes I feel restless.

I moved to the industry recently (Director at Pharma) and everyone’s been advising me to think early about moving up the ladder and where I want to move within the organization. Do I have the option to just remain in my role long term? Will it be perceived negatively? interviewing with kpmg, i thought i’d have one manager, director, then a partner interview. but i’ve got another director interview. kinda nervous now, since i gave a good performance on my last interview and was just hoping to finish off with my partner interview. Can you help with comparison of two offers? 1) Director role at a non-FAANG but large tech firm. TC is ~300k. Good WLB reputation, but the team / role is not ideal, it is helping with value prop and positioning of one of their software for industry clients. Not sales role though. 2) DoorDash senior manager, TC will be 260-280 being negotiated. The role is a new market strategy team so I like, but the culture sounds similar to consulting and stock price trajectory uncertain

Looking at exiting to a F500 company (Rank ~300), for a director of strategy role, with my manager reporting directly to the CSO.

The pay is identical, plus stock RSUs on top. WLB is much better (8-5 job), and work is more interesting.

They require relocation to a LCOL (less desirable) city. I'm thinking of asking to work remotely for the first 6-12 months (to accommodate wifes job), and fly in every other week (coast to coast flight).

Is that reasonable to ask? What else should I consider?

Got approached for a director role at Avanade and recruiter says they can meet my 300k salary ask. That salary alone would be a ~60% increase in my total comp (moved internal at D a year ago). Any red flags about Avanade? Would be tough to give up my current 9-5 flexible schedule but at that comp imagine I should apply / see how the opp seems right?
