Is this a good offer? I have one year self-employed advisory experience and have been offered an employed role with a $73,000 basic and a production bonus of 30% on new business production over 3.5 x salary and 15% on trail. Nominal annual bonus (I expected it to be less than $5,000).

I know I can earn more going self employed but it was too hard to make the standing start work so I want to get a few years experience under my belt before trying again.

For an employed role how does this sound?

I've been interviewing with TD Bank in Massachusetts for a financial advisor position. I do not currently have my 65. If offered the position, I will be first offered a 60 day interim position when I would study for and take my 65 exam. After passing, I would be offered the FA position.

I have 2 years of retail banking experience, and have done exceedingly well in the wealth referral space. What should I ask for/be expecting in terms of base salary?

Looking for some advice. I've been talking to another advisor thinking of bringing me on as a "Junior" and a salaried position plus bonus. His book is grossing 900k a year and my book that I would bring along is grossing only 20k. I have been in the business 4 years with a transition to independent (LPL) halfway through that.
My question is what is a fair compensation plan? What a good starting salary I should ask for and what benchmarks should I measure my bonus on?

Anybody familiar with the Fisher Investments sales role? They give you a salary first 2 years plus commission, but the only thing that I don’t like is they no longer pay the trail on any account you open after 3 years. Just wanted to know if anyone knows anything about their program and if the FA’s are really getting THAT many leads to justify that comp plan.

I had a call with a team member for a position I'm in the interview process for (soon to have a call with the recruiter). The person seemed passive aggressive during the call and hung up on me before I was able to say thank you for his time or bye. I didn't have my interview yet but I was told that this call is known to the team and the recruiter. Does it seem like I bombed the interview before even having the interview since it didn't end on a good note?

I have been at a hybrid RIA for the last 10 years and as a producing advisor for the last 7 years. I followed their seminar marketing system and grew my book from nothing to more than 100M aum (75% fee based). In a comfortable position but the firm is delaying for more than 1year a contract update reflecting my track record. I've requested this multiple times. My current contract/payouts were assigned when I was fresh out of college. What are my options at this point?
