I currently work in a data analytics role (Big 4). I have an offer from a mid-sized hedge fund to do business analytics (essentially management reporting), but have interviews with Google (product analyst - data science) and Citadel (compliance project manager) lined up. Is it worth foregoing the mid-sized hedge fund for the shot at the other roles? Hedge funds or tech the better place to be?

I am looking for a referral for the role of business analyst/project manager. I have total 5.4 years of experience in data analytics for CPG/Retail domain.

My wife (HR) and myself (Project Manager) both work at TCS Bangalore and we both are serving NP. I am holding an offer from Big 4 at 20 LPA and wife holds an offer at Product Based organization of 20 LPA. Both our experience is 6-7 yrs. Now TCS wants to retain us with UK onsite. We are little confused, as while onsite is what we aspired for in past, but then the offers we hold has also simultaneously given us a very good aspiring role and hike. We would appreciate your suggestion.

Has anyone in this bowl performed a case study as part of the hiring process for a Project Manager? This role will be closely aligned with the Product team at a start-up. My husband was asked to complete and given 4 scenarios to respond to. He has a great strategy for the content but unsure of the best way to present. The document says “present any way you wish.” My guidance would be a deck sent in PDF. Some of the questions are more about his approach to prioritization & others process design

Just got approached for a senior manager position at fortune 100 company that is an IC role…? Even the director level would have limited leadership opportunity… I guess it’s better than all of the scrum master and project manager roles that seem to fall into my inbox but just odd leveling. Am I crazy or is it weird for a Senior Manager to be an IC???
