Interviewing for an internal role and hiring manager wants to finalize it before YE. Is the odd of slightly higher if HC round is passed?

People who have transitioned from consulting to industry or an objectively less demanding role (i.e working 40-45 hrs a week), what makes you feel good about your decision? After a decade in client services, I’m reaching a breaking point and can’t see consulting being sustainable with a young family. I'm up for a pharma agency senior CW role in the Rx/HCP vertical. I have been freelancing for 11 years, so mostly contract rates between $50 and $80 p/h (lower end on W2, higher 1099).
