I just received an email from Talent where they want to scheduled a “feedback call” after the interviews to give me feedback. Is that a rejection?

Is it kosher to respond saying thanks but not looking for VP level roles and are looking for a C-suite opportunity? COO and I have almost same YOE (12-15). I’m already at an SVP equivalent level. I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles).

Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already.

I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?

Thoughts on staying in IB longer term to VP/director/MD level vs. exiting at the associate level? Seems like total number of exit opps get cut down but quality of exit opps is higher (ie. senior level in PE/corp dev). So I received a msg from a headhunter for a start up with about 300 people and just got series D for 75M. The role is to work with CEO’s and very senior level people. The two issues I am having are: when I looked at some of the VP’s over the group…they wouldn’t be very senior anywhere else. One has been working since 2010 and until 5 yrs ago was a ESOL teacher. Startup Corp Dev Comp?

Got an offer for a corporate development role at a pre-ipo startup. Senior manager title but not really meaningful as it’s a startup, essentially I’ll be the only corp dev guy outside of the c-suite.

205k USD cash comp + 115K USD options (net value at current private valuation). IPO likely to happen over the next year.

Wondering if anyone knew a rough TC comp range to expect for a company at this stage? I’m weighing this role vs an IBD VP role (BB).

Thoughts on $200k for a VP/Group Account Director role at a network digital agency on the West Coast? Apparently potential for growth is there etc. but rest of benefits package is pretty standard stuff. (I have 15yrs experience under my belt.)

Which Roles are better in long terms , looking for direction in terms of compensation and impact You make , some background I have 7 YOE being in SAP analytics, wondering what career trajectory should I take be in technical role or more of strategic role where I define analytics capability and manage people . Which is better in long term like 15 years down the line being VP of firm or being architect .

What position at PA is equivalent to a VP and SVP F500 role? Primarily for total comp comparison.
