wen you make it to the 3rd round (1st round Hr, 2nd round hiring manager, 3rd round panel of senior manager & VP of Finance) do you think there is others I am competing with at that stage or I am the only one and they are just trying to get final approval/ double checking for red flags before they hire me?

If I have 3 years of middle management experience, and a mba in hospital administration, what other prerequisites are required for a VP of Operations position?

Interviewing at Salesforce right now for a Solutions Engineer role. I have an interview with the VP tomorrow. Anyone have any advice? I keep getting the feedback that I am too “structured” and too much of a consultant. 💩 Oh the irony.

I have an intro call with a VP hiring for a brand director role. What might be the most common or hardest question a VP may ask for such a role? I’ve only held senior marketing roles and am about 10 years of experience. I have a job post I am being considered for at a bank for a VP position and in the description, it says the salary is New York - $170,00 $240,000 $280,000. And then this is supposed to be base salary, bonus and LTI component. I am not sure if this is a cumulative salary or in addition the base, you can get $240K in bonus…etc ? Anyone have any thoughts? I will probably ask, but thought to check in case anyone had a similar situation

Recruiter reached out to me about a Strategy VP role in O&G. The role is focused on alternative business models and tapping into the climate agenda, which is meritworthy, but I just feel the sector as a whole is dying and question whether it’s the right horse to back. Interview next week for a fintech VP role (real VP reporting to CEO, not the fake traditional finance VP titles) and have no idea what target salary should be. Glassdoor is all over the place. Trying to crowdsource a reasonable number.

I am looking for some perspectives. I’m in a technical consulting role and would like to end up as a VP or CTO one day. My plan is to go for an online MBA while working full time (6 figures hard to give up) then pivot afterwards to managing a devs or product management. Exit ope from being a strategy and ops VP at a start up?

Thinking of joining a biotech startup. High potential, just raised a series A and heading towards a B. VP level role, roughly 30 employees. Base is ~300, but the non-base comp is unusual from what I can see. They’re offering an amount of options based on an assumed value at IPO in 2 years.
That does not seem to be a normal equity plan based on anything I can see online. Any thoughts?
(I know the main thing is liking the role, just making sure i’m being rewarded appropriately)

Have a VP-level offer at a MF but initial offer was below my target comp. Took significant amount of effort and working networks to get the offer. Think im going to reiterate my target but now worried this might turn into a 1+ year search to find another similar role.

Recently went through 6 rounds of interviews for a role I'm very qualified for. After the final interview with the VP, I was told that the job went to someone else because she "had a little more CPG experience."
After 6+ hours of interviews, and that being the only feedback, does the given reason feel accurate, or just being nice? How likely did I just botch something in the final interview and they're being non-specific?
