What is the best way to learn about different roles in FAANG?

I was a MBB consultant in India. I am in the US now with a AI products company.

I work well on the intersection of technology and business. I have conceptualised and deployed multiple enterprise products over the last 2 years.

I am looking to move to a bigger organization now. However I don't want to get into corporate strategy roles.

What are some other roles that could be a good fit for me?

What’s the right level and comp range for biz ops role in FAANG with 3 years at MBB, 2 years in PE, and top undergrad (if that matters?). Got two offers from F/G but tech levels and comp are new to me. Surprised comp is lower than newly minted unicorn (Series C)

Offers at F/G
~$140k base, 10% bonus, $60-70k equity vesting 4 years (what level does this convert to?)

Offer at unicorn: $160k cash, $250k options 4 year vesting (based on current valuation less strike price... but still paper money)

Why does everyone put Tech / FAANG on such a pedestal, claiming it’s better than MBB. Sure, the comp and WLB may be better, but you won’t be doing as meaningful and impactful work e.g. Govt Covid response, Gates foundation projects, industry defining projects in the space of a few months etc

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. If you’re frustrated about 💰 and career, maybe from FAANG/MBB/PE TC posts, just remember that 99% of life is still pretty much the same for everyone.
