What is the Parental Leave policy at other consulting companies? How does commission structure change during the time off as a producer? If one of your clients buys an engagement, do you not get credit/commission?

Are bonuses typically prorated to account for paid parental leave? (Aka I took 3 months, so my bonus is 25% less)

FWIW, I am at a non-lockstep firm with a guaranteed bonus of a percentage of my salary if I meet my hours (plus discretionary), but would be interested in hearing from lockstep firms as well.

Parental leave question. In the US, assuming full pay, what are the birthing and non-birthing parent leave durations for McKinsey, Bain, BCG, and others?

How hard is it to go in-house once you're a partner? I'm up for evaluation this winter at a smaller BigLaw firm, but I'm questioning whether that's the route I want to go long term. There are plenty of remote jobs in my practice area (patents/IP, computer science focus). Making matters more difficult is that my wife and I will be starting IVF in Jan., and I know parental leave/benefits don't kick in for a bit. If I go through the shareholder process, will it be hard to go in-house?

My full time job (not SMU) is literally making me sick-spent time at the ER. One associate quit and another is out of full paid parental leave (must be nice, I’m not paid for doing double the work)…so I’m now expected to do the work of 3 associates. My supervisor isn’t exactly understanding, and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been searching for jobs, but it’s difficult since my background is diverse and not focused on one area of law. If I quit, how hard is it to find a new job?

I just received an offer from Deloitte USDC coming on as a Investigations Senior Consultant @ $110k, $5k signing bonus, 100% remote position (requested) Can Someone explain what benefits are afforded to me? Is the 401k match the same? Recruiter stated 3 weeks and 3 days of PTO…does that mean 18 days or 24 days? Also, can someone clarify the parental leave policy as compared to core? What is the federal parental leave policy? I’m new to government and having a baby soon. I know we’re given 12 weeks and have to sign an agreement to work 12 weeks after we return but are there other stipulations to a claw back period or how long we had to be at the agency first?

I work for a CPA firm, 45-50 employees, and we're looking at expanding our benefits package. Right now, we only offer 2 or 3 weeks vacation, 1 week paid sick time, healthcare, 401(k) with profit sharing, and Life/Long-term disability coverage. No dental, no parental leave, no ST disability, no EAP etc.

Could anyone else in this industry, or in another professional services industry, weigh in on what benefits you offer and which ones are most popular?
