What are some common Teams / Zoom / Skype habits which annoy the heck out of you?

I have a zoom interview today but late last night I found out I had strep throat with a fever of 103 and it hurts to talk. So I asked the recruiter if I can reschedule and they seem annoyed that Im rescheduling a remote interview. Is this a red flag or am I in the wrong?

I got the opportunity to work for EY and the first round of interview was scheduled as planned. i joined the meeting on Microsoft teams and waited for 4 hours. I kept on sending requests but nobody responded. I sent mails and calls but nobody showed up or responded to it. So disappointed with this. And there has been not a word from them. Are they going to get back to me? or will I still be interviewed? Can someone please help me out in this?

Got invited to a hirevue live interview, is it the same as a normal teams meeting or zoom call? Is my screen recorded? Am i speaking to a person or am i just being recorded?

I hate it when people dial into Zoom meetings on their phone instead of using their computer’s audio. Their voice is delayed and sounds tinny. Drives me nuts!!!

I have been waiting hr to join the call for now about 30 mins have passed still no one has joined.
Also tried to call recruiter for asking if the interview linked shared is correct or interview is schedule is changedd?
But no one is picking up the call.

I am a Product Manager and I often wish there was an app to serve as one source of truth for all the stakeholders. I currently use a blend of Google suite (sheets, docs), Figma, Miro, Slack, and GitHub. It can get quite messy at times though.



What message should I drop at company’s slack on my farewell. Only thing I have is bitter feelings towards my workplace. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hi! Question. How does your company handle the communication between customers and solution engineers during integration? Do you use Slack, Jira, etc? We are using Slack but some customers won’t use Slack so then it’s bleeding over to other forms of communication that are less ideal. I’m starting to wonder if we would be better off doing Jira tickets. 🙃

I have almost 10 years of experience in basic tech troubleshooting.
I joined Capgemini 2 years back as a network engineer specialist but all we do is WebEx support (Cisco).
I want to learn proper technology but am a bit confused which vertical to go for.
AWS, CCNA, wireless router, switches, VOIP, calling etc etc.
Any suggestions guys?
