What tips do you guys have for presenting? I am facilitating a training for 3 slides and I’m nervous - especially since I am brand new in the job!

Do you invoke a % penalty for clients who don’t pay their invoices (if their retainer is exhausted/not replenished yet) on time? For example, % of the invoice as penalty of late payment. Trying to create ways to keep my AR low and higher collection rate.

Consulting bowl I need your advice tonight. 5 YOE in corp finance (industry). Just got an offer for different finance (still industry) role - 50% raise to $165K TC plus two additional direct reports to me. However, I got my MBA to transition to consulting and am in beginning stages of two top consulting firms. I need to give an answer on the offer by tomorrow afternoon. What do I do? If I expedite the consulting firms processes they may (likely will) say no. Thanks

How does the LP interview go? You tell them a story and then what? I have heard that they pick your story and tear it apart by going deeper and deeper into it. Hello! I accepted an offer with KPMG but starting date is summer/ fall 2023 but i just got an offer with Cohn R starting in january is it bad if i start with Cohn R until i receive my date with KPMG? First time having to pitch and show a company their product during an interview, any tips?

I did not join Deloitte a few months back after getting an offer.

Will they blacklist me in their system for any other opportunities in future? (i.e. - is it possible in their system?)

Did not join because HR was so unresponsive during the discussion phase that I completely lost interest and joined elsewhere instead. Though I did email them 2 weeks in advance that due to so much of non-response, I am not interested anymore.

Imposter syndrome is truly the craziest thing. I don’t understand it. Like I consciously know it’s gonna affect me but subconsciously it just doesn’t go away!!

I have regular 1:1s with my team and always ask for feedback and over the last few months have been consistently getting really good feedback from everyone, but I still feel like I’m doing everything wrong and someone’s gonna realize it sooner or later.
This doesn’t make any sense but still happens. I think this is just a vent :(
