Why is it so hard to find a remote HR position? I have my SHRM-SCP, my MBA and over 10 years of experience being an HR Manager.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

I am the walking definition of mediocrity and I'm OK with it as every supposed 'rockstar' I've come across in the few short years I've been here in the US has also been entirely mediocre at best. The problem is, when every job advert asks for "the world's greatest X", how do you put across that you can do the job perfectly well without sounding like an a$$hole?

Currently interning in a MCOL city but want to move to NYC right after graduating college one year from now. However, the partner recommends I stay in current city for 1-2 years before moving/transferring offices. When did you move to NYC? If I waited a year or two would the difference be pretty marginal compared to moving right after college? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Is it true that a guy never notices another guy but notices all the girls? My boyfriend and I just had a discussion about how he does not notice any guys in the gym but notices all the girls. When I tried to put forward my argument saying I notice both guys and girls so it should be the same case for him. He said it’s not the same for the guys. First I got offer Letter from globant with 15LPA, Later I got offer from mindtree with 16.5 LPA along with joining bonus. I am willing to join globant only. I am thinking to ask globant for 18LPA. Will globant revise offer letter?
