29F. I’ve become burnt out on spending my free time with people I don’t enjoy being around (i.e people who I feel relieved to leave after spending time with them). With that said, I’ve started to distance myself from my dad, 2 aunts, childhood best friend, and other friends. Has anyone gone through something similar? I just can’t get myself to muster the energy to be fake when I’m around them, but I feel guilty that I’m basically cutting them out of my life and am nervous I will regret doing so.

So i started a new job this week at a series C scale-up, after a couple of nice months off resting. 3 days before (with all contracts signed etc) i am told that the VP (who hired me) was being let go and they would hire someone else. So far what i am seeing is an “orphan” team, reporting to a founder who is not a CPO. Has anyone been in this situation before? Zika - part of my family lives in South America, and I will visit them end of this year. We just started to TTC when realized we have to postpone by 8 months (4 until the trip, 1 month there, 3 months after). I was happy we were not pressured but now I feel it. Best case I would be 33 and my husband 40 by the time the baby is born. Freeze? Relax, 8 months won’t make a difference?
