I lost what little respect I had for Bernie when his mic got snatched from his hand while speaking. Absolutely not. Unacceptable.
I graduated college last year and have been working for an investment manager for about a year now. I started off in the back office and got promoted 4 months into the job and I’m now a junior trader. My lease is up in July and I’m moving back to NYC, so I will be quitting my job. I realllllly want to break into sales and trading on the sell side but I did not go to a target school or have a great GPA for that matter. I have the drive and the ambition, but I know I won’t be able to (continued)
A MFE is better suited for stuff like trading, risk management, structuring, quantitative research, etc

VaynerMedia for creatives, after Steve Babcock. I know Vayner got a lot of shit before, but Babcock joining as CCO apparently fixed some previous issues. I’m wondering how it is now that he’s gone.

As I start my career, I was thinking if there’s actually a difference between Deloitte S&O and Accenture Strategy. How do they compare to other firms like S&, EYP, L.E.K, Kearney, OW in terms of Exit opps. I know MBB’s are the best but it’s also a reach.

Is a 1 hr commute one way do-able? Moving to a role that would require commuting in using train so I can avoid living in a shoe-box in the city. I have a family so appreciate the increased space

I am SO tired of reminding everyone on everything, saying the same thing a million times, and being on numerous accounts with minimal support. After my company had some layoffs due to Covid-19, I work at least 50 hours every week (sometimes 70). Should I look for a new job? I don’t feel motivated and happy at all. I know I should be grateful to have a job during this time but..

I had an interview last Thursday and a pretty lengthy case study that’s due today. Did not finish it in time, should I ask for an extension or just forget it? Not sure if I would accept the job anyway
Can we apply for new jobs?? In the middle of recruiting. Will need H1B transfer after I get the offer. This orange buffoon cant end our career growth!
