Cadwalader

Almost afraid to ask after the heavy layoffs I read about last year, but any thoughts on Cadwalader NYC’s funds group?

like

Not my firm, but I hear Cadwalader just reduced associate pay by 25% and stopped partner distributions.

So, Cadwalader announced that it’s cutting associate pay by 25%. How widespread do you think this approach will become?

Started new job at a non-F500 (CorpDev) this week (got offered +45% over my previous base). Received an offer today from EY, which is +35% over my current base. I kinda like the CorpDev gig more and have very little motivation to join EY (that particular team). Can I still use their offer to pump up my current base here at the non-F500? How can I ask for a raise and not set wrong impression so early on?

I just have a lot of students with special needs who would benefit from music therapy. I have done extra classes for them where we do stuff that I've picked up from others, but I want the certification.
