Hi, I’m looking for a Sr art director to join my team in Austin. If you have 5-10 years experience, a great book and good attitude I’d love to chat. Learn more about Dell Blue and apply at dellblue.com…
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!
Any female MM/ENT AEs with SaaS or Fintech experience looking to make a move? Series D company positioned to IPO in 2 years. Would be wild if this works lol
Need to define diverse talent metrics to create a scorecard. Challenge is that the available data is based on opting in/out of self identification, that data point can change dramatically YOY. Any recommendations on metrics and scorecard?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Now that networking events are virtual and limited opportunity for face to face meetings - how are new leads being generated besides website traffic. How do you "network" at virtual meetings and presentations?
Ladies & Gentlemen, with one month left in Q2, some will fall short of our numbers. Others will hit them. I can’t speak for all of us here, however, I can speak for myself. That being said, I will NOT be one that comes up short of my number. Now, this leads me to you all, to present a question. If you have to prospect, if you’re looking for new business, is it worth $1500 to put 95% of your prospecting process on autopilot? If so, let’s chat.
I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
Good morning, I work for Solugenix placing top notch candidates at companies throughout the US. I just started at Solugenix so anyone who needs any assistance either finding a job or looking for candidates please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
What is the HR culture at Facebook? Thinking I’d responding to a FB recruiter email to interview. I interviewed for a role a few months back, made it to on-site was rejected. Want to know what the pace, collaboration is like among peers.
I am a Canadian. I have a wealth of experience in Education and Educational Leadership (Doctoral Level). I am looking for a position in Southern California. I would require sponsorship. Leads? Ideas? Thoughts??
I’m looking for a screening tool that will assess a candidate’s proficiency with MS-Teams. Would anyone know if there is such a thing that exists?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
So, I’m currently interviewing for new job, and market is not bad, but I’m anxious and I am interviewing for every opportunity that comes my way (director/vp level, tech). Today, September 30 I received an invite for an initial interview for another opportunity. So I applied to this opportunity through networking on August 10 (!). It looks like a red flag for me and I’m thinking thankyounext, but again it’s covid time... Thoughts?
Salary question. How much do you think someone with 3 YOE and a masters is worth in terms of comp in Chicago?
Worthwhile getting the AWS cloud practitioner cert? (Will there be a return financially in ease of finding job or higher salary)?
Looking for a 1 month rental apartment (whole space or shared with a roommate) for my sister near Texas Medical Center in Houston. Any leads appreciated :)
Has anyone ever been PIP because of only one mistake? In other coaching I’ve been identified as a high performer. My career mentor has given me some constructive feedback, but also tells me I’m doing really well. However, recently I was responsible for a data breach (it’s a long story, but it was basically a very bad mistake). I was told, instead of being fired I would be on PIP. Is this a courtesy to help me find another job in the next 3 months? Or do they have to do something like this?
Why was the Precheck line at SEA insane today?!
Staff two here and just got my new salary. Base is a measly $2,700 more than incoming hires. When you take into account their bonus our peer group makes 8.1% less than people with zero experience. How does this make any sense. Did leadership think this was a good idea? I’ve been reading a lot on fishbowl about managers making less than incoming MBAs. How is that fair? Think this was a really poor job of executing salary adjustments. Am I wrong or does there need to be a change soon
Tie or no tie in a virtual interview with CIO?
Best part about being laid off and getting on with a better place: taking business/clients away from the old firm to your new one. #HellHathNoFury 😌
Anyone here exited to P&G or Unilever in either purchasing or brand management? Any insights on the culture/benefits/progression in these companies are much appreciated.

Any tips for negotiating salary in big law as a third year associate? Given COVID, I want to make sure I’m sensitive to the financial situation of the firm but I also want to advocate for myself. Is it appropriate to ask for a signing bonus?
I have 2 on site interviews scheduled on the same day. Each one with 3 rounds. Any tips?
How much does a letter of rec matter? I left my last job in may, and am most likely applying next year. Idk if my previous managers would be the best people to ask, and I’m not sure my current (cont)
Anyone else slightly disheartened by the fact that you can’t really make more money except by waiting until your next promotion? Or was it after a certain point to where you were happy with it? Cont..
Do you partially base your performance on the strength of your relationship with your client? Mine is a sexist, cold bully who I can no longer stomach after 2 years. But asking off feels like failure
Any experience / insight into working at AmEx? I am aware the pay is low but seems to have a good culture. Interested in any insight
