I'm currently a recruiter, with an HR background looking to make a slight career pivot. As an introvert, the recruitment aspect has been draining however, I do enjoy the non-phone screen aspects of it. I enjoy consulting with managers and looking at comp, internal equity and providing data to my hiring managers. I would love to know if there is anyone that has done a similar pivot (whether it's recruiter, HR generalist, etc.) to a Comp Analyst and what that transition has been like.

Hi guys, I have worked in an international b2b sales role, my manager who is located in US offered to give me a reference letter, it was aligned that I will compose the letter for him to sign ...In my EU country were we typically don’t do these documents .....I found some examples in the internet but would be interested to see some real life sales specific letters..... what is mandatory for such document to be included and how did yours look like ...would appreciate any input from your side

I sent a canned email from a template like I typically do but this guy got super angry. He sent an email saying horrible things to me, I'm pretty sure he found my Facebook and made a fake account to harass me, etc. I rejected guys from dates and they never took it like this guy did when I rejected him for the job. The job is an entry-level software engineer position. We had so many candidates apply and sadly we couldn’t take him. I told my boss and its being taken care of. Should I expect more of that in the future?

Applied for what I thought was freelance for an agency but instead they’re offering a ‘short-term hire’ position that lasts 3 months and includes PTO, medical, and 401k. Why would they offer that? Is this worth it? I’m already insured and a 3-month 401k plan seems odd to me...

Lately, I've gone from a "how can I add more value to the client?" mindset to a "what is the bare minimum I need to do to complete this engagement?" mindset. Is it time for me to leave consulting? Or is it possible to rekindle that passion? For context... I've been consulting for 4 years, this started happening 6 months ago. COVID happened after I started feeling this way.
