Hi all, I worked at a big law firm for 4 yrs, and I’ve been in-house for 5 years. As a side hustle, I built a tool to improve efficiency for certain transactional lawyers and am looking to sell to those law firms. Are partners/law firms these days more willing to leverage technology tools to save time, even though they are sort of incentivized to bill as much as they can under a yearly billables model?

For those that may have been following posts the past few days, my boyfriend broke up with me last week. I confirmed with him today that he's completely over it and does not want to try to work on things. As a result, I'll be loading up my car in a few weeks, driving across country, and becoming a Seattle resident. Recommendations on neighborhoods? Looking for something close to down town and not TOO lively. I'm not much of a bar goer / parter but I'd still like to meet people and do things.
