Anyone know what % range raise to expect from Senior 1 to Senior 2? I know it'll be small but still curious!
Is it possible to go through the interview process for 2 different positions at EY at the same time (Treasury and Supply Chain) or do I need to pick one? I’m assuming the answer is i have to pick one.
If I am looking to pivot to product management side of the industry, are there any programs/certifications/online courses that you would highly recommend? Something that adds value to my resume. Not considering an MBA at this point. Thanks!
So recruiter reached out & I feel like he kinda gave me a feeling that he comes from a position above. I’m like, come on, you reached out to me for a position so please be humble when talking to me.
"We're in a hiring freeze." Lobby TV: WELCOME NEW HIRES! ...Anyone feel like "hiring freeze" is as real as "promotion"? When do we get paid though... 😭
What's the culture like at Deloitte's S&O (M&A) practice? How would D's M&A practice stack up against PwC's DDV (and FYI I don't care about the 6 month PMI projects as they help with revenue targets)
About to start at S&. Got offered my salary before this cohort nonsense- they're not going to pull a fast one on me, right?
Thinking about leaving B4. Will be a senior 1 in tax come October. Been doing some thinking and can’t decide if being in tax long term is for me. Want to transition into finance role. Thinking about leaving to be a finance associate somewhere and wanted to get input as the career paths for these moves. Ultimately want to be a CFO I think. I know pay is variable but in northeast is it substantial? Worth foregoing the chance of being partner? Fear is not making it and then being pigeon holed.
Several posts here about exit plans. I posted this thread on another bowl and it’s getting a lot of traction. Feel free to follow my journey here
Is there a level by level comparison post here? Looking mostly for Deloitte vs Accenture level list?
I just declined an offer. They have been on calls with me for a month begging me to join (but the position has only 20k salary hike). I’m staying in D as I see myself some potential here even though I only got 3000 salary increase. I hope I’m making a good decision 😫

Can someone speak to the culture and work that the Finance & Enterprise Performance group at Deloitte does? I've mostly done finance strategy work, and a recruiter reached out mentioning that is a
Is rolling over a traditional 401k into a Roth IRA during business school a good idea, since you don't have income then for tax purposes?
Hi ladies! I am seeking advice as I am torn between between prepping and applying to MBA or FAANG jobs. I currently am at 4.5 YOE, 150K base, engineering manager. My network has advised that an MBA can help pivot careers as I’m exploring content strategy (Netflix). One of my goals is to also work in London. I will add that there is an expectation in my family for higher education and candidly, my longer term goal is a CXO position. Thank you!
I know as advertisers sometimes we “bend” the facts, but I’ve been working at an Amazon warehouse on weekends to make ends meet and anyone on here who worked on that new TV spot where they say Amazon goes “overboard” with safety for employees during Covid—that was a 10000% BIG fat fuckin overzealous crock of horseshit. -Sincerely, an Amazon employee.
People always say FAANG but I rarely see mentions of Netflix...is it just because it’s a handy acronym?
If I’m a newly promoted Consultant in the MC practice, what could I say my base salary expectation is at McKinsey?
The next time that you are considering asking for points for smallest mistakes of HK, just think how you'd feel if your client reports your small mistakes to your partner and ask for discount
Take the Easy associate job that pays more with great brand name, great pay, great benefits, seemingly good manager, but the role isn’t what you want and isn’t as good of a stepping stone OR the difficult manager role that has great role, high impact, helps you learn, good skill development, average benefits, good pay (but not crazy outstanding), solid brand name BUT you don’t know the team/manager well & pay/benefits isn’t as high as the first

What are the specific salary ranges / bands for EY’s job titles in the advisory, government practice? I’m specifically keen on understanding compensation at the staff, senior, and manager levels. I may be moving from another Big4 (commercial side) and want to know what salary base I can expect / how it compares. Thanks!
Government officials: 65+ self-isolate, restaurant dine-in prohibited, gyms closed, bars closed, work from home if you can. My employer: Until further notice, everyone can wear jeans to work
NYC based. I feel like as soon as Covid restrictions loosened up, it turned summer & now it’s way too hot to do anything outside. I don’t enjoy parks, botanical gardens, & outdoor dining in sweltering sun & humidity. Anyone else in the same boat and have suggestions of alternative things to do (inside or outside the house)?
Anyone have insights on Deloitte's cloud strategy practice, or willing to answer some of my questions? Interview next week for Cloud Strategy Senior Consultant. TIA
