Do any AmLaw 200 firms offer fee splitting for associates? As a senior associate, I originate more than my salary and I know that many others with the same title in my firm originate little/nothing. Yet we are all paid about the same base and our bonuses are underwhelming. Sounds like a rant but am just curious.
So, I'm really curious, for those of us who aren't essential workers, how are you handling return to work? Phases? 50% capacity? Self Identifying disclosures? Sanitization stations?

I understand that the way to figure out whether you’re paid appropriately is to take your number of billable hours multiplied by your hourly rate and divided by three. Going into my annual review, I’m it even sure if I’ll be offered a raise, but if I am, should I apply that formula to my new hourly rate (if it’s increased) or my current one?

For those of you who spent the time and money to get the PHR or SHRM certifications, do you feel that it actually strengthened your professional capabilities as on HR professional, or did you just do it to fit into the “HR Professional” crowd?

At a crossroads for what to do … <3 YOE and have enough saved up for a down payment on a condo (live w parents now), but am also thinking of getting an MBA . Would love to do an MBA abroad and work internationally for a few years, but financially it would definitely be better to have a mortgage vs. lose 2 years of income .. plus it seems like MBA’s aren’t as valuable as before any thoughts ?
