Having read the Outward Mindset from the Arbinger Institute I wonder if any of you have used it in your business to help with a cultural mind shift? If so, do you have thoughts you can share? Thanks!!

Currently, we're using JazzHR for our ATS and importing new hires in ADP WorkForce Now, our HRIS and where we run payroll. JazzHR has been great, and ADP has mostly been a pain. We're also using Concur for expenses. Just did a demo with Paycom and was generally really pleased, except the ATS which seems really bare bones compared to JazzHR. Is it worth trading the ease and functionality of our standalone ATS to get an all-in-one solution?
What do you do on Monday to get your week set up? I feel like I spend so much time helping my team get their pipelines in shape for the week / setting up a plan.
What's your organization's stance on surveys? I've been in the HR department of my organization for a year and a half, we've never sent any type of engagement, satisfaction, NPS, etc. survey to employees. I've just been made aware that our Executive team and our CEO are not a fan of employee surveys so that's why we don't do them. Is this...normal? Or is it dysfunctional as an HR department to not be doing surveys?
Looking to learn more about how others determine the correct cadence to advertise for evergreen requisitions or invitations to join a talent pool without over saturating the audience?

When an employee complains about their manager how do you address it?...The employee was not reporting any harassment allegations; it was the standard “I do everything and make my boss look good while my boss does nothing all day.” There is really nothing to work off of here and I don’t know how to respond other than “sorry that sucks” and “what do you suggest be done?”
I've been in account management/sales hybrid roles for the last 8 years at 2 different companies. I am looking for roles that are strictly sales based where I do not have to do a bunch follow up forever trying to grow the business. I enjoy the sales cycle and don't mind following up for a year if thats what it takes to get my contract back but I am just not into the long term account development. I currently work remote and am open to 50% travel. Any hot leads or advice?
Do any managers do more than just manage and lead the team? Currently I manage the team, manage accounting, handle HR, handle marketing such as documents and emails, provide all of the technical support, and sell. My boss still works from home and only looks at the phone report to check the productivity. They refuse to look at my reports or complete activity logs. Because I have 4 hours of no phone activity daily, my boss believes I am not working hard enough. Cont.
It feels weird posting a LinkedIn post in FishBowl, but I found this post from Jamal very insightful. I would have just copied the text, but I want to give him credit.
Does anyone have ideas on how to help local businesses during this time from a work perspective? Our engagement committee thought of buying gift cards and somehow incorporating ways to give back but our matching gift program applies to organizations that are only IRS tax exempt. I am trying to find a way that the company can help with giving back to local business. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Hi! What are your companies doing regarding sign on bonuses for interns this year? We ended up having our full intern program this summer and plan to extend offers. Are companies getting rid of sign on bonuses for entry level employees this year? Any insight would be appreciated!

Zoom meetings have been fantastic. I can highly recommend my home group SOS. 7:30 daily. Great way to get grounded as you start your day.
I'm a consultant working directly with an analyst and Principal. The principal has told me he would like me to act as the engagement manager for this project. The analyst pushes Back so hard on all my asks - it's difficult to manage. Getting frustrated- I feel like he doesn't value my opinion? Today i reminded him of a task he owns and his response was "good on you for remembering that". I ended up doing it myself. Kicking myself because I feel like I set up a bad precedent. Advice? Also: this guy is 3 months into the job

Have an interview this week for a senior solution analyst position with BCG. Any insights on the position or expected salary?
Can you still get into M7 if you were asked to resign from your company after less than a year because of “culture fit” issues? Would admissions be able to figure out that you were asked to leave? Would they look suspiciously at a job history with less than a year of experience at one role? I know it’s all about the story you tell, but I just want to know how admissions thinks about these things and if anyone here has gone through a similar experience
There’s a role posted 3 days ago which already 100+ people applied for it. I wanted to connect with my network/someone from that company/role to chat and potentially get a referral. This, however, will take at least a week or two. Should I just submit application w/o referral given that there are already a lot of ppl applying and the role might be filled?
