I am at the 2nd round of my interview for the Recruiter Position for a German Company in Germany. I want to ask what should I prepare for this interview and which situations could they give me to check my Recruitment knowledge? Basic questions have been asked in the first interview.
Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. We work in small client teams (1-3 team members per client usually) and it’s a mix of strategy, tactical, and outsourced HR work. Any suggestions?
Any female MM/ENT AEs with SaaS or Fintech experience looking to make a move? Series D company positioned to IPO in 2 years. Would be wild if this works lol
Good morning, I work for Solugenix placing top notch candidates at companies throughout the US. I just started at Solugenix so anyone who needs any assistance either finding a job or looking for candidates please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
Any strategies or resources you could recommend for getting rid of the dreaded annual performance review (or at least lessening the dread) and creating a more effective year round performance feedback system? Our review is currently tied to our end of year bonuses and merit increases, so not sure I could get rid of it entirely. This would be for hourly and management employees, all working on-site.
Need to define diverse talent metrics to create a scorecard. Challenge is that the available data is based on opting in/out of self identification, that data point can change dramatically YOY. Any recommendations on metrics and scorecard?
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
Are you folks happy with your decision to make a career in sales? I’m young working in tech sales, but also have my bachelors in psychology, and could see my self happily going for my masters maybe even PHD and being a counselor.
You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.
How much value do companies place on HR experience in a specific industry? My thought is that HR is HR wherever you go, and it shouldn’t be difficult to switch industries (e.g. manufacturing to financial services), mid- to late-career. But what has been your experience?
So, my boss just told me that all lives matter. Let me know if you hear about any executive HR openings, I have 16 years of global HR experience.
Is your organization planning to require employees be vaccinated? I understand why management wants this but concerned about losing good employees because they don’t believe in vaccination or are wanting to wait until more people have been vaccinated to see if there are issues with it. I’m also concerned with moral if we require this. Employees may get it to keep there job but hold on to some bitterness or develop anxiety over it. Am I being too soft or over analyzing?
Is it common for travel to only be Mon-Thurs? What time on Thurs do you usually leave the client site?

Any permanent residents here. How did your company manage you to travel and work in the US? (i.e. not eligible for TN visa)
Having trouble writing external resume. As a consultant, I’ve had multiple titles/clients. I want to highlight the management and impressive roles I’ve had in all different projects/clients, but the scanners see it as a “job hopper”. Also, resume becomes very crowded. How do I list myself as a consultant at accenture - with multiple titles/clients for the past 2 years? I just got laid off and need to start applying. Any help will be appreciated.
Delta travelers: anyone know if we can get free comfort plus on award international flights as a Platinum? Right know shows that I have to pay to select a seat. Thanks !
Looking for the best travel hacks out there. Best so far: Hertz CDP can be used for personal rentals, and splitting SPG reservations into sequential 1 day stays to expedite status. What are yours?
Trying not to spiral. I have an off-cycle review/evaluation Friday, and even though I’ve improved significantly, I’m convinced I’m going to be fired. I’ve been applying to jobs for weeks, but nothing is getting any responses whatsoever. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I get cut.
Can you quit the old company before the new company starts the H1B transfer? They advised not to, but I want to go home and chill
As adults we rarely had to think about vaccines pre-covid, other than the 10 year tetanus shot and optional flu shot. What booster shots have you got as an adult? Got a physical coming up and going to discuss with my doctor if I should be getting any.

Help - have a really great exit opportunity (good team, exciting role, etc.), but got weird vibes from the hiring manager during the interview process. He seemed somewhat condescending and just overall not very nice. It’s a small ~20 person start up and he’d be my direct manager so I’d be working with him closely. Reason to not take the job?
Please let me know if I’m missing anything. When it comes to investing vs. paying off debt, ppl say paying off debt makes you sleep better at night. But if I get fired tomorrow, I would not have $ for my monthly bills if I have been focusing on paying off debt. It’s not like i can reborrow student loans? So.. Wouldn’t I sleep better if I invest, because at least I will have more liquidity and can dip into my investment if I get fired?
Is this a good exit opportunity? I’m an MBB Asóciate playing a manager role, I’m being offered a Director level role at a financial services firm based on the mountain west. All in compost ~$220k ...
