Thinking of giving up on finance and become a comedian, I’m genuinely funny and a clown already so the switch should be smooth. Any thoughts? Any advise?
How do you guys retain all the info about a company or deal you’re working on? I feel like I’m “processing” too much and am not really knowledgeable. For example, today I forgot the revenue growth rate for a prospect we are pitching.
How do you cope with team members texting and calling you when they need something and you’re not online? I can’t stand this idea of virtually being available 24/7 to cope with “emergencies”

As an ABCD myself, I feel like a lot of ABCDs tend to be generally pretty cold and unfriendly, especially to other desis. They tend to hang out in their own cliques that share their same disdain for desi culture and look down on their own kind. Yet at the same time they preach about progressivism to no end. Generally I’ve found recent migrants to be far more warm and welcoming. Anyone else feels that this is the case? Again, not generalizing here as I’m an ABCD myself.
Hi ladies! Have any of you had experience interviewing for the GET Cities fellowship? I get really nervous with interviews and really want this opportunity and could use all the help I can get.

Is there anybody who moved to International Tax Team from another team? Currently promoted senior and I have been working on international tax items, but I feel like I am in lack of training and supervision compared to actual person in ITS. I also do a lot of domestic work, but part of me really enjoys international tax and want to specialize in it How hard is it to change teams as a senior (from a non ITS group), and are they hiring or even open to internal transfers at the moment?
What’s the right level and comp range for biz ops role in FAANG with 3 years at MBB, 2 years in PE, and top undergrad (if that matters?). Got two offers from F/G but tech levels and comp are new to me. Surprised comp is lower than newly minted unicorn (Series C) Offers at F/G ~$140k base, 10% bonus, $60-70k equity vesting 4 years (what level does this convert to?) Offer at unicorn: $160k cash, $250k options 4 year vesting (based on current valuation less strike price... but still paper money)
My brother has 2 kids, aged 6 and 3. They never call or keep in touch but take full on advantage of my 77 year old mother who has health issues and debilitating back pain. They put her in stressful situations...she never says no because she’s too nice. Today called and said dropping off both kids FOR 6 days while they go on vacation to Florida for someone’s bday. I live in another state but am summoned to help take care of their kids with absolutely no notice. I say no & im the problem...

Deep knowledge of patient/HCP segmentation and regulatory is a big plus. Really good group of people and a rapidly growing set of business. DM if interested!!
Just went through the 6th interview for a single company - 4 by phone, 2 in person. I feel like I'm either joining the CIA or being pranked by on a really sad reality show. 🙄
