It’s a fact of life that teachers are reaching into their own pockets to provide resources for their own students.
But what’s the best way to do this? What kind of resources are out there?
Fishbowl is happy to have veteran educator Monica Monfre host a Q&A about what teachers can do to strategically fund their classrooms.
From sharing resources to stretching dollars, Monica has developed an expertise in classroom funding strategies she is sharing with teachers around the country this week.
Monica Monfre is a 12 year veteran Literature teacher in Brooklyn NY.
She has taught all levels of literature (including AP) and dance in both Washington DC and NYC (charters are her expertise).
She works with teachers around the nation to reignite their passion for teaching so they can lead in and out of the classroom. When she’s not teaching or coaching, you can catch her on a yoga mat or walking her dog, Big Mac.
