1.5 YOE at firm (entry level). Been upskilling a lot. How do I go about asking my company for a raise and if so what % should I request? TC: ~75k in NYC

My boss recently approached me a week ago about moving into a new role, larger in scope w/ global visibility, managing more people and in other countries, manage a manager, AND fill the gap in other problem areas. He's told me that I am the only person that he trusts to do the job and they have created this new role for me to help us get IPO ready. The only catch: no pay increase, no title change. What do I do?

Just wondering - Do coaches have to pay from their pockets for promoting their coachee? My coach sounds soo negative irrespective of my Manager supporting the promotion decision. Despite my milestone year , good scatterplot and utilisation my coach is still saying at 3.5 years it's difficult to get promotion from analyst to Consultant.
