Check out maternity benefits at the new firm .. sometimes you need to be there a year for full benefits
I’m fairly sure Accenture doesn’t have a one year requirement, but best to check for sure!

1. 35, 2. Yes, assuming I had full maternity benefits. There is never a convenient time to have a baby.
Thank you @ey1... how do you manage consulting with kids?
EY offers exec coaching when returning from maternity leave (I think M+, but I want to say anyone can make a business case & request it - not sure...). I took advantage of that benefit & worked with my coach to prioritize what really moves the needle for me.
I set clear & reasonable boundaries, & I relentlessly focus on work that is critical to my teams & engagements, not “urgent” work that just keeps me busy & distracted.
I’m a SM & manage my own book, so I do have a certain degree of autonomy. That said, I’m trying to think through having a 2nd baby while going up for Principal, & have realized there is no great time. Pregnancy & leave are such small snapshots in the grand scheme of a career, so I try to not let it stress me out.
