Went through HCL Technologies HR discussion and salary discussion 10 days back. Initial required documents are sent from my side over mail to HR as they asked. HR told they will proceed with the profile and will update back post getting the approval. After that no update yet and HR is not responding over mails/calls as usual. Should I consider they are not proceeding? Any idea how many days it takes in general HCL Technologies

Who works at DoorDash corporate and can give me advice on interviewing? I have my first round of interviews for a S&O role next week. I know there’s mixed feelings about working there but I need this job and it pays well. I’m working a temp job now and I need something permanent. I do have tech startup experience. Advice and insight would be appreciated!
There are good recruiters out there, but they're the minority. I suppose that can be said of any field of work. Usually, it's the ones that are doing direct hires that are really responsive.
Sometimes...lots of ghosting out there. However, there are positive outcomes also. I recently had one where the HR mgr called me for initial interview and the interview with the hiring mgr occurred the following week.
As a hiring manager myself HR will do a prescreen interview before passing candidates me to select for interview. I’ll not select everyone for interviews and so HR should go back to those I have rejected. I might be waiting for more suitable candidates for I start my round of interviews or I might have a few days annual leave. So sometimes there is a delay. Just sit it out and wait and don’t take the wait personally.
Sometimes the senior management put on a hiring freeze and pull the role I’m recruiting for. It’s annoying for everyone not just the candidates as I need someone to fill the vacancy in my team but I am unable to.
RE: #1. Did you hear what you wanted to hear or did you hear what they actually said?
A common question candidates ask is: What's the interview process. So I describe it to them, but that does not mean I've committed to advancing them to next steps.
no, I heard what was actually said. Sometimes recruiter will say - manager will evaluate my comments and resumes and choose who will be interviewed, But in two recent interviews I was told manager already said he/she/they wanted me brought in for interview with them. But then delay, delay and ghost
