So I have an offer from both EY for Tech Consulting - Cybersecurity and Booz Allen Hamilton for Commercial Cyber Consultant.
While EY pays about 12k more, I’m concerned about my WLB. Booz Allen Hamilton seems great, but the slightly lower pay and smaller commercial practice makes me slightly concerned for my future career opportunities if I decide to leave.
Not sure what to pick and I’d love to hear how your experience has been in the cyber practice at Booz Allen Hamilton & EY

All three will place well into MM PE. Very difficult for any consulting to place into megafunds. Bain definitely places a higher % of their classes into PE but my guess is that is largely driven by a higher % of interest in it than a market indicator (it might be on the margins). If you leave on good standing there's always an open door policy, regardless of what you exit into (unless you went from Bain to McKinsey or something probably).

Differences will be marginal, Bain probably has a tiny edge. The experience internally with exposure to PE however is vastly better at Bain. At Bain the open door policy is pretty much a rule especially when business is doing well.
Getting an interview: no difference (there are rare cases where Bain’s PE connections can get you an interview where there isn’t a formal process, or before hiring starts)
Passing an interview: Bain PEG will set you up way better for this. Quality of product in PEG means you will have far more and far better training at thinking like an investor
Regarding open door: most people who leave after completing SAC (third) year get a 2+2 offer to return, which includes up to two years working elsewhere and sponsorship for MBA (with two-year commitment to Bain on the back end of sponsored MBA). Not a ton of people go that route after PE but it's not unheard of. Returning at the C level without the MBA would be evaluated case by case.
That would really surprise me. It is not something I've seen.
The sponsorship offer is such that there are multiple points where you can accept it, so some may leave for school with an *offer* for sponsorship, hold off on accepting it, and then decide to go elsewhere. We
