Both are there. Good if you work are currently working in a project with poor WLB, old tech stack and want switch immediately. Bad if your current salary is low, most service based companies won't give proper package during interview, you need to have multiple offers to get the package you need But due to 1 month NP, its difficult to have that many offers

Yup, totally agree on that!

It's pretty common, whether it's good or bad.

Mixed bag

I have a 1 month notice period, I prefer it because it makes transitioning easier

I don't think it's a bad thing.

How would you start a conversation with your bosses / HR about wanting to stay WFH forever (already a real possibility based on new policy) and potentially moving back home (out of the US)? I dream of being back home with family, but I love my job (and my salary 😅) and would love to continue with them even if I make the decision to move back.

I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?

Is it in bad taste to quit a firm immediately after you receive your bonus? I have a new in-house job lined up with a flexible Feb start date, but in the same close knit market that I am in now. Bonuses are distributed during the first week of Jan. Should I give it some time before I give my notice, or should I just rip the band aid off once the money hits my account? Trying to not burn any bridges with this jump.

Is this okay for a work black tie holiday party? (Got it in a dark red)
