I run a temp agency but I'm consistently being mistreated and only gross under 68k. Is capital markets terrible at every firm or just at mine? I feel over-leveraged and like I'm on too many deals. Have been pushing back on new work but it sounds like everyone in my class is in the same boat. I've been working 18ish hour days every day since the beginning of January and am going to talk to a recruiter about lateraling, but I'm wondering if I should plan to change practice areas too? It would be fine if we were on fewer deals, it's really the volume that's problematic right now.

Needing some advice. I work at a Fortune 500 company and have been given multiple responsibilities over the years which change my yearly goals. I’ve done well with each goal and have improved many processes. I’m prior service and the only female on my team. My question is, after 5 years of always working late, working holidays, never saying no but not getting promoted.. should I leave or hope they see my worth as an employee? Often in the interview, interviewer asks about how virtual dom works or what is react or where is implementation of setTimeoutEffect(in v6 or ESMAScripts). Or Even in Nodejs interview they ask about event loop or v8 engine r libuv which is not required while programming with nodejs. I was just curios why they ask these, because in actual development I dont think these concepts are much helpful (even if those are the once we build things on), these are only for what is happening in background
