1 year and 3 month with two busy season experience, CPA licensed and CFE passed (don’t have two year experience yet), on a visa. What are the chances of me getting in forensic consulting? I’ve been cold calling people around but don’t seem like they are currently hiring.

Have you tried to email or contact the Forensic talent team for EY ? We are pretty busy so Lang there is opportunity for a rotation?

Talk to someone about doing a rotation in forensics. I know for a fact there are projects taking people as we’re crazy busy as a practice.

I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

Reading “the call” posts on LinkedIn is a cold reminder to be grateful for having a job. Happy Wednesday everyone. I'm so excited, I have a recruiter call scheduled with @Meta for Administrative Partner position. I've been in my current employer role for 19 years and I'm nervous as heck. I haven't had to do an interview in so long. Can someone please tell me what to expect with the recruiter call? I'm assuming it will be mostly about the role, my skills and background? Do they ask salary expectations? I have no idea what to say for the salary question. Feedback appreciated. Thanks

Friends, need some feedback on an idea:

I’m thinking of starting a podcast interviewing leaders at startups about their experience with specific challenges - I know, cliche, get a more original hobby, etc.

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

What are your thoughts on this format?

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. What did you think of that webcast?

PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.

In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?
