Promotions reduced due to covid and found out I’m being held back on my senior promotion (Canada). I’ve been on the fence about leaving for a while, and this may be it. Do you think it makes sense to take my accounting experience over to an FP&A role in terms of transferability? I feel like a lot of the analysis and excel / ppt skills transfer over, but it is a lit of tax knowledge to just leave behind.

Just lost all my gains and more by investing in individual stocks ($70k- PTON) since I thought I was able to do what I did last year. Context is, I am the highest you can get on Marriott and have not been impressed. I’ve switched ambassadors and still don’t find them worthwhile vs. personal research. Just used the last of my points at a resort for 2 weeks, and it didn’t feel like they even got the basics right. All in all, interested in a change when we go back to traveling.
