I personally loved it as I enjoy of Reality Drama
and also got to know how different and difficult Indian society is.

Seeking a genuine discussion coming from a black man with a black girlfriend. I tend to notice many of my black friends prefer to date / court non black women (not exclusively white). When I bring up the topic to them, the typical response is “that is just my preference”. I agree that all people have their own preferences but as a community, I think it’s well known that black men typically don’t have first preference to black women. I used to be an attractive woman. Then I gained 60 pounds from depression and bing eating. I know the only way to feel better about myself is to accept the new body or work hard to lose it. I tried accepting it by dating on bumble and I’ve been getting ghosted. It’s really hard to say it’s them when it consistently keep happening. Why do people feel like it’s okay to be that disrespectful? People have to live with that.

Spoke with a therapist for the first time in years and they said I am likely depressed. Was kind of surprised to hear because although I have a lot of challenges I never thought depression to be one of them. But maybe this is due to my preconceptions about depression? Ok so. I have been on this journey for almost a year now to try and 'get to know and love myself' and I'm not there yet. I separated from my ex in March of 2020 and divorce was finalized in October 2020.
