Interviewer feedback denying me the role was that because I did not say "People trust me and came to me about process issues. Which led me to collaborate with others that I have networked with in the past to find solutions." I did not get the job.

I recently started a new job in house. Previously I’ve been at two other companies in house prior. I am in my 8th year of practice and have only done L&E during all previous jobs. I love L&E and was told this new role would be L&E.

Flash forward to starting- the role is 0% L&E and they have me doing contracts, data privacy, IP….I never would’ve taken the role if I would’ve known this is the actual area of law they were going to give me work in but I hate my new job and don’t know what to do.

For tax exception, min of these will be considered.

Ques: Can I claim my entire HRA exemption of 4,00,000 (as per option 2) by showing annual rent of 5,00,000 ?
P.S.- I am staying at home with my parents and I can transfer the rent to my parents.

I’m in IT in a large corp and I don’t know what to do. I’m the systems engineer and I planned around what I thought was a straight forward concept. It appears what I thought would be possible was wrong. Everyone celebrated thinking I’d figured it out, including me. Were spinning up a full team to build it and I’ve exhausted all avenues to find an alternative solution. There isn’t. Horrified this is a career limiting situation….

My organization absorbed another and the former deputy PM became a branch head - a demotion. For org was more focused on tech dev and not delivering a product on a sked. New org is very focused on that. He is not a driving leader, but is the only one with the tech knowledge needed. He is retirement eligible. He has no heir apparent - previous org didn’t plan that way. If I move him under someone who is a driver - he retires and I lose the knowledge. If I don’t, we may not meet schedules. Advice?

I had a great review and a 5.5% raise and a great bonus at my company. But I also got a new Director and a peer manager of mine left the company, so I will be absorbing her team. Our annual reviews are approaching & one of my direct reports has been with us for almost six years w/ little growth. Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.
