Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

On time percentages are closely watched by the DOT and the data behind them are automatically reported by on-board equipment on the planes. The data are correct, but you have to look at exactly how it is defined. I forget the specifics, but I think it has to arrive more than 15 minutes late to count as delayed. The flight "arrives" when the break is set at the gate (meaning if there's a delay with the jet bridge, it doesn't count). And I think it is a one year average. Also, if it is a daily flight, and it's only delayed a lot on Thursdays because of where the inbound aircraft comes from those days or something, it could impact you much more than the statistics suggest.

Damn OW1. Quite the detailed explanation. Thanks for the education. I will still complain though, just maybe leave out the on-time numbers. 😀
