For tech it’s low. I was making 150k (not incl stocks) as an AD in SF. Not sure about agency side though

Thanks for the input. I am looking agency side though.

$100k is about right for an SF mid, agency wise.

I’d try to get a little more. I negotiated 110k as a mid level 3 years ago.

I asked and got it and I regretted not going higher.

How many years experience?

4-5 years

Senior AD or AD?

Seems about right for a agency full time

Is there any way to secure a pay raise besides threatening to leave for a better offer? I tried to talk to my manager and he said “maybe at this time next year”, but suddenly after giving my notice the raise became possible now. I just feel bitter and want to leave anyways.

Hi all, just wanted to run my plan past the collective and see if I'm on track.
Goal: fully retire by 45 (2029)

Currently own a home with a 30y mortgage ending Dec 2047, 2.25%.
Will be receiving a lump sum payout of between $2.5M - $3M at or around 45.
Currently have guaranteed income that scales with inflation that is net ~$48k/y.
Monthly expenses are ~6k before travel.

All my numbers say I'm on track but wanted to just get your thoughts!

Wow! so I recently left to industry and just found this list from when I first began considering leaving PA. What are your thoughts? Any pros/cons to add about a career in public accounting?

Hi , I worked in 2 different companies in financial year with different basic pay , HRA . I have opted for new tax regime in first company so tax is deducted accordingly ( no HRA is claimed ) . Second company did not deduct tax as it is only for 2 months and amount earned less than 2.5 lakhs. Now I am filing returns by changing tac regime to old . I want to claim HRA . Now what will be the limit of HRA that i can claim . Continued in comments

I’ve recently been promoted to an Art Director’s title from being a Designer. However, I haven’t received a change in pay and was told that I will have to wait until I reach 1 year with company in the fall/winter cycle to receive the raise that comes with the title change. I currently make 63k with about 3 years of experience. What should I expect in my salary for this promotion to becoming an art director (from a designer)?

Does health/pharma pay better than regular agencies? Generally speaking.

Is pharma work at the lower level (thinking 2-4 years experience) really paid that well? I always hear pharma is where the money is at and I've got some student loans I'd like to pay off, but when I look around here I'm seeing only $70k for junior-mid...which doesn't seem like much more than a regular agency. Is the money just in the higher positions? Is it worth a hopefully-temporary switch to pay the bills early on?
