Yes, go. It is 15% jump. More is good, but this is enough. 1.6k raise this year sounds alarming… take the job and run.

Terrible raise for someone with tech skills that gets offers on the daily. I think it shows we arnt valued which is fine- as a person who needs to own their career you just go elsewhere

Btw, how many years of experience do you have? And Technology?? For your reference, there are few SA/SM in the center getting < 135k.

like

D6, one more point to note. OP will be getting 135k as Senior Consultant, but you are getting just 7% more (145–135/135*100) for one level above. Additionally, every increase and future benefit of OP will be higher based on his/her new salary at KPMG.

Go with it! How many years were you with Deloitte?

Depends, have you factored in the benefits? Nevertheless, usually can't go wrong by following the $.

If you are not on a visa, this is a no brainer. How many years would it take for you to make a 135base with an average of 3-4K raises from 117? And the expectations to perform at the next level and continue to do so along with impactful PRD activities?

like

Also it seems that you have been normalized with salary and expect the same next year.

Are you on visa?

No

Hi ladies, Is the 6 month mark too early to ask for a raise? I have been required to over step my job role in almost every capacity. My bosses boss is contacting my personal phone on this weekend as the main point of contact for crisis comms on social media. I am also helping more senior social media members often. I have received 5 pieces of overwhelmingly positive written feedback from colleagues and these will be reviewed at the end of probation talk. I just don't know how to ask. 😔

If your firm follows the Cravath scale, do you think you’ll receive a raise at the end of the year commensurate with your advancing a year? (Eg if you’re a 1st year in NY, do you think you’ll get that 10k bump as you move to your second year in 2021?)

I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. The issue is, my KPMG Partner has mentioned that I *may* be up for promotion nxt July. I am so stuck, not sure whether to take it or not.

One of the SMs is supporting my promotion case but they are lately trying to micromanage me and ask all nagging questions unnecessarily. Unsure how to handle this professionally.
