I feel like I’m not learning anything and I don’t trust my managers to know how to generate revenues (no strategic revenue growth in 3y) and I don’t even work in the math models or finance topics that seemed interesting when I joined.
I would like to pivot to Equity Research because they seem to know what they’re talking about and

I really can’t secure an Internship for this summer and I had someone from EY say that I was overqualified but I don’t think that’s true. To be honest, I am a bit late to the internship finding game just because I recently decided I wanted to go into consulting (was premed). Despite that I have a lot of background regarding leadership roles in entrepreneurship/business activities at my school. I’m starting to get discouraged and scared. Any tips or advice on this? In search of interview advice!

After about a full year of attempting to make a career shift into career services in higher education, I am finally getting interviews. I recently interviewed for a Career Coach position at a community college. Tomorrow, I have an interview for an Assistant/Associate Director for the career development office at a law school. Advice on how to market myself or what questions I can expect with not a lot of experience in my background would be appreciated!

Started looking at jobs in private accounting. I scored interviews for a Staff Accountant, Junior Accountant, and Accounting Assistant. I just finished interviewing for the Staff Accountant position which feels very much like AP/AR and Bank Recs to start, similarly to the other two positions. Does the title matter? I want to be able to grow but at the same time I want to make sure I’m moving up positions in my job search so I’m exposed to harder/higher level work.

6 months ago I left a company I loved & had a great reputation at, but was underpaid due to political reasons (my whole team was). I was offered 40% more & unlimited PTO with another company, and took it without asking for a counter. Now, I have so much regret as my new company is extremely toxic. Old company already backfilled my position. I don’t know what to do, and I’m scared it will look bad to leave my new company so soon and if I did, what if I wind up in another toxic situation? Advice?
