S&P Global Hi fishes, I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Anyone else barely make it through Q1? 😅

I agree with Attorney 1. If you are definitely looking to go in-house, if the role itself is good (good experience that will set you up for future roles), I’d consider making the jump, even if the company culture isn’t great. I wouldn’t make the jump if the culture is unethical though.
OP’s got a legit concern. Very few of the lawyers in my legal department were 12 years out when they went in-house. Most of those that did go in later, filled niche roles - including me - so it’s not impossible, but if going in-house is definitely part of the career plan, taking the opportunity to get in-house is something to seriously consider.
This whole thing is weird to me because it says OP is a partner, and several of the junior partners I worked underneath went in-house after being partner for 1-3 years (aka around OP’s total years of experience). They’re all GCs. I guess partner can mean a lot of things, and some must have very different exit options.

If you are comfortable in your current job I personally would not jump to a job you are not excited about just for the purpose of lateraling. I would reassess your job application package to see if you can better tailor your application materials to in-house jobs, expand the net of jobs you are applying with, meet with some recruiters, etc to try and have more success in your search.
What would your position be? How transferable would the skills be?
Generalist.
How long have you been looking?
That’s a really short amount of time. If you can get an offer in a couple of months, you’ll likely get other offers fairly easy, too. So you can hold out for a better company.
